A Critical Season For God’s People

Many of you may have been feeling a consistent nudging of the Holy Spirit, a call to turn your plate down in fasting, to go deeper into fervent prayer and intercession, or to spend more intentional time in the Word of God. Don’t ignore this unction from the Holy Spirit. This season we are in is very critical, and The Holy Spirit is calling His people to a deeper level in Him to prepare for what is ahead.

You may feel that you are in a place or entering into a place isolation, as if it’s just you and God. I want to encourage you that this is intentional. God often allows us to walk through seasons of solitude so that our focus can be entirely on Him. It may feel lonely, but know that you are not alone. God is refining you, drawing you into deeper intimacy with Him to prepare you for what’s next.

This current season will determine the outcome of your next season. It is pivotal for your future, and the decisions you make now, whether to obey the promptings of the Holy Spirit or not, will shape the trajectory of your life and your purpose. God is asking His children to focus entirely on Him, to cut out all distractions, and to submit fully to His will. This season requires us to be obedient, focused, dedicated, disciplined, and consistent in our walk with Him.

If you are not sure where to begin or seeking guidance navigating this season, below are examples to help you partner with God during this time:

1. Fasting and Prayer: Choose a fast that the Holy Spirit leads you to, whether it’s turning down your plate or fasting from distractions like social media or entertainment. Use that time to pray and seek God’s direction. Joel 2:22, Matthew 17:21, and Ezra 8:23.

2. Set a Consistent Prayer Routine: Dedicate time each day to meet with God in prayer. Create a quiet space where you can focus entirely on Him without interruptions. Sometimes just sitting and resting in the presence of God is what he wants from us vs praying and asking for things. Let Him speak to you about His plans and desires for your life.

3. Dive Deep into the Word: The Word of God is our anchor. Spend more time studying scripture and allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal his truths, secrets, wisdom and revelation to you. Jeremiah 33:3, Proverbs 2:3-6, Ephesians 1:17, and Daniel 2:22. Meditate on God’s promises and His faithfulness. Let the Word guide you and give you strength when you feel weary.

4. Cut Out Distractions: This season calls for focus, and distractions will hinder your progress. Identify the things that pull you away from God’s presence, whether it’s certain activities, habits, or even people. Be intentional about removing those distractions so you can devote more time to God’s work in you.

5. Partner with the Holy Spirit: You are not alone in this. The Holy Spirit is your helper, and He will guide you every step of the way. Ask Him to help you remain disciplined, dedicated, and consistent. When you feel weak, ask for His strength. When you’re unsure of what to do next, ask for His wisdom.

6. Write Down What God is Revealing To You: Keep a journal and write down the things God speaks to you during this season. Sometimes, God reveals things in small pieces and not all at once. Writing it down allows you to revisit and reflect on what He is showing you. This will also encourage you and help you see how God has been speaking and moving throughout this season.

I know this season might feel difficult, but it is also a season of great growth and transformation. As you draw closer to God and remain obedient to His leading, you will begin to see breakthrough in areas that once seemed stagnant. You will gain clarity and wisdom for the next season of your life as well.

I want to remind and encourage you that God sees your dedication, and He will honor your obedience faithfulness. Don’t grow weary in this process. Trust that as you walk through this critical season, God is aligning everything according to His plan and purpose for your life. You are not walking through this alone. The Father is with you, leading and guiding you, and He has incredible plans for your future. Remain obedient, stay focused, and watch how God moves in ways you never expected or could have ever imagined.

I’m praying for you as you walk through this season and I know God will give you the grace and strength you need to keep pressing forward!

Prayers and Blessings,

Kiara
