These past few weeks I’ve dreamed of storms brewing or God has shown to me in prayer storms brewing. In a particular dream on last week I was driving in my car and out of nowhere the sky became extremely dark and a tornado quickly formed. Once the tornado made landfall it began to come directly my way. I began to drive faster attempting to out drive the tornado and make it to the other side, but it was way too fast.

I didn’t panic I began to call on the name of The Lord and also ask for angelic assistance. Instantly, I began to feel such great peace come over me. I removed my hands from my steering wheel as God guided my car through the storm. As God was bringing me through the storm I got a view of the horizon that was before me, it was so beautiful, sunny and bright. Once we completely made it to the beautiful, sunny, and bright side, there was an enormous rainbow in the sky. A rainbow is often a sign of hope and the beauty after the storm. It also reflects the beauty, glory, grace, mercy, and majesty of God.
Once I awakened from this dream I got up to pray and praise God for his assurance, protection, and guidance. In reality I have been pushed out of my comfort zone and God has set me in a new place in life. This new place is a answered prayer but honestly, it has been difficult to adjust to right away. God was assuring me in my dream that He was there with me, guiding and protecting me. All that I had to do was continue to trust in him, keep my hands off of my steering wheel by allowing him lead and guide me.
During my prayer time I began to pray and intercede for God’s children who are experiencing/walking through difficult times in any aspect of their lives. His children are always on his heart but they are most certainly on his heart in this hour. In this hour God’s children will experience breakthrough and victory in their lives like they have never before. What they may have lost in the past will not compare to what God is restoring and making new in their lives. They will be in such awe of what He has done in their lives.
Today I want to encourage you that God will not only see you through the storm, He will also carry you through the storm and get the glory by bringing good out of the difficulties/storms in your life. I pray that God will give you peace and joy in the midst of whatever it is that you are currently experiencing/ walking through. I pray that He gives you assurance, wisdom, strategy, direction, and that he will guide you as you continue to journey forward and that he covers you from behind as well. I pray that you will also trust fully in Christ Jesus and not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). I praise and thank God in advance with you and for you as you begin to quickly cross over into new horizons in your life that He has prepared for you.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)
Forever at His feet,
Kiara
