Navigating the path to your destiny and success won’t always be smooth sailing. I often wish this truth were as spotlighted as tales of effortless triumphs.
The truth is none of us are perfect. There are times that we make mistakes. Grant yourself grace, just as God grants you when you repent and ask Him for forgiveness, learn from these moments, and forge ahead.
On this journey called life, there will be times when your life seems tested, falling apart, contrary to God’s promises. Still press forward. Regardless of what it may appear to be, beyond challenges awaits your promised land.
There are times on your journey towards destiny you will experience wounds and hurts, even from those you love most. But, in God’s presence, you find healing, maintaining clean hands and a pure heart. God sometimes redirects you to new relationships and friendships, separating you from what you thought was forever. He sometimes brings back old individuals in a later time and season. Be prayerful and discerning. Most importantly, prioritize healing so you can love and be loved properly.
There will also be times you experience persecution. If you can’t endure slander, rejection, or lies, you may not be fully prepared for your destiny. Remaining in the presence of God is so important. Also remaining silent at times you’d prefer to react is a true strength. Always remember that God is your greatest defender and vindicator.
Spiritual warfare is real, yet God covers, protects, sustains, blesses, and strengthens you. There will be moments when quitting feels tempting. Recently, I faced such a situation where I felt as Sarah having to wait on her long awaited promise in the Bible, seemingly impossible. Overwhelmed and frustrated, I ran to God, vented, prayed, and cried. He gave me such great peace, joy, and clarity followed along with necessary rebukes.
To those on their journey, waiting on promises, the year isn’t over, and your timing isn’t missed. God’s words over your life will come to fruition. War over your destiny, speak and declare, backed by faith. When you reach your promised land, the fight will prove worth it.
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 ESV.
Forever at his feet,
Kiara
